After the success of the last edition of the event, held in Rio de Janeiro in 2009, the Brazilian Nuclear Energy Association (Aben) has the pleasure to announce Inac 2011, which will take place in Belo Horizonte, capital of the state of Minas Gerais, in the Brazilian Southeast. The conference will be carried out with the XVII Meeting on Nuclear Reactor Physics and Thermal Hydraulics (Enfir), the X Meeting on Nuclear Applications (Enan) and the II Meeting on Nuclear Industry (Enin).
In addition of bringing together important names of the international and Brazilian nuclear sectors, the event will be an opportunity to be introduced to the academic work of young students at the successful Junior Poster Technical Sessions. Inac 2011 will also include the traditional ExpoInac exhibition, which congregates national and foreign companies.
With the theme "New jobs for a better life", the conference intends to discuss the increasing supply of nuclear energy in Brazil and around the world, the new jobs that are being created as a consequence and the need to train young professionals.
The conference will also include a historic exhibition, which will be opened to the public, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Triga IPR-R1, the first reactor of its type sold to the Southern Hemisphere, and the 59th anniversary of the Nuclear Technology Development Center (CDTN), the first nuclear energy research institute founded in Brazil, both located in Belo Horizonte.
Come and be a part of the reconstruction of the Brazilian nuclear sector!
